These special single estate beans come from Pa'ani Farms in Kona Hawaii. Pa'ani Farms is a small family farm in Kona, HI, run by a mother-daughter duo who have lovingly rehabilitated a cacao orchard to produce award winning beans with a local fermentary.

The daughter, Anne van Leynseele, is the author of Savor Your Chocolate, a cookbook exploring the savory side of cacao and chocolate.
